Pinknic

Summer 2016 marks the New York City debut of Pinknicthe city’s first giant picnic and music festival dedicated exclusively to rosé wine. Over the course of two days, guests are invited to eat, drink, and enjoy entertainment spread across the sprawling grounds of Governors Island--rosé wine in hand, naturally.

Created by the founders of La Nuit en Rosé, Pinknic will run Saturday July 9 through July 10. The hours of the event are 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on both days.

In a setting suited for summer’s favorite beverage, the two-day event is an unparalleled opportunity to delight in still and sparkling rosé selections from Château d’EsclansMoët & Chandon, and Chandon. But rosé isn’t the only thing taking center stage. Throughout the weekend, there will be a robust selection of live entertainment, with DJ sets and performances by ClaptoneMiami HorrorTube & BergerSlow HandsTortured Soul and more.

From the glass to the grounds, Governors Island will be bathed in pink. Each day, two thousand rosé-hued designer blankets will provide ample seating for guests, each of whom are invited to adhere to the weekend’s dress code of pink and white. For those who do not wish to bring their own food, gourmet Pinknic Baskets crafted by celebrity Chef Chris Santos.

Nuit Rose Cruise

The world’s first festival dedicated exclusively to rosé wine, La Nuit en Rosé is an unparalleled marriage of food, wine, beauty, entertainment, and fashion. In a unique and inspiring environment, guests are welcomed to enjoy bespoke experiences that celebrate the rosé-drinking lifestyle, well beyond the glass.

Since its successful New York City debut in 2014, the festival has expanded to include Los Angelesand Miami, creating opportunities for attendees to delight and indulge from coast to coast. Each year, the audience--comprised of everyone from novice connoisseurs to industry professionals--for La Nuit en Rosé grows. In addition to the 5,000 New York City attendees, Los Angeles brings together 1,000 guests. Miami attracts a growing list of 500. Together, these three events attract over 6,500 people, each eager to celebrate "la vie en rosé".

La Nuit en Rosé’s New York City flagship event features more than 150 rosé wines30 local restaurants, a wealth of acclaimed chefs, and an elegant selection of VIP experiences. Aboard the 200-foot Hornblower Infinity Yacht, guests delight in live entertainment, dancing, and spectacular views of the New York City skyline.

Each La Nuit en Rosé festival kicks off with the VIP Rosé Wine Pairing Dinner presented by Wine Enthusiast. Here, guests benefit from an elevated experience that showcases the delicious versatility of rosé.

La Nuit en Rosé was created by wine entrepreneur and rosé ambassador Pierrick Bouquet. Pierrick was recently selected by Wine Enthusiast as one of America's Top 40 Under 40 Tastemakers. Pierrick is also behind the 2016 debut of Pinknic, New York City’s largest rosé-themed picnic.
